The Yamaha YTR-8335S trumpet bell is hand forged and is made in one piece of yellow brass (yellow brass: 70% copper, 30% zinc).
In this traditional procedure, a fan-shaped piece of brass with a thickness of about 0.5 mm is slowly and carefully shaped to form a tube and its seam is welded.
A skilled worker then proceeds to hammer the tube to produce the shape of a bell.
