Intense and stable, Instead of the mahogany body, as is the case with the other models in this series, the Yamaha TRBX 174 BK has an alder body. This amazing wood is known for its impeccable balance of sound, with an equal spread of bass, mids and highs. The neck is made of mahogany and features a sonokelin (Indian rosewood) fingerboard. The electronic core of this bass includes two single coil pickups which guarantee an extremely defined, transparent and intense sound. The neck pickup is a split single coil and its function is to generate an even more powerful sound without the annoying hum at 50 Hz.
